About Tony's Pizzeria

Tony's Pizzeria

Located at 23 Burrstone Rd, Utica, NY 13502, Tony's Pizzeria operates as a pizza restaurant serving Utica in New York. Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Tony's Pizzeria at (315) 724-0537; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is tonyspizzeriacity.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

The pizza was good. I wasn't familiar with this place and either the put the toppings under the cheese or I got ripped off. The box was heavy and it was a thicker crust. Not really my thing but it was good for what it was.

My husband and I have been going to Tony’s on burrstone for over twenty years. Always had the best service and great food. Tonight we ordered pizza I got the rudest kid on the phone. I god forbid saw a special that they do t have anymore and just said they should take it off menu. She stayed I have no control over that. I said you might want to let the owner know. So that little statement I guess made her upset or something . I put my order in lg pizza 30 wings when my husband cashed out she rang it up wrong then had to ring out 5.20 on top of the 46.80. On the phone she said my bill would be 50.19 well add the two together and it came to 52.00. It sounds like the right hand don’t know what the left is doing. When he got home the wings were not bagged so all the sauce leaked out all over my pizza. The pizza was not done it was horrible wing sauce got in the box. When I called, the machine picks up and tells you specials then they will be right with you. She answer hello not Tony’s I said is this Tony’s she hung up in my ear. I called back and another girl answered I asked her if I could leave my number for the owner she repeated my number wrong and then told me to call in the m

Good pizza, friendly service. My son and I stopped in and had a pepperoni pizza. Not a lot of seating, but I got the impression the vast majority of their business is delivery and take out. Pizza was good, quality ingredients with a good sauce. Reasonably priced too. Worth an order.

My wife ate chicken riggies and bread. I just had six meatballs with sauce. We both had Diet Pepsi. I didn't take pictures but my wife ordered a large cheese pizza some wings and a salad to take home. Everything was very good the only thing that I didn't care for was that the girl brought us our food to the table and didn't bring us anything to eat it with. There were no utensils available near The Fountain drink machine where the napkins are so we figured they would bring them to us, but my wife had to go to the counter and get utensils. Other than that the food was good

Tony's is certainly above average. It features a tight little seating area, so it's a bit of a challenge to maneuver around other customers. The fries were crisp and delicious. The large pepperoni pizza was good, not great. The cheese was layered mostly over the meat, which seems like a nice twist. The pizza was hard to eat without making a mess, as everything sort of slid off the crust, which was a tad doughy for me. As for flavor, the cheese and sauce performed quite well. The fries, pie and four drinks came to less than $33. Great value there.
